Accreditation 

Contribution towards VCE: VM 

It is mandated that students studying VCE: VM complete 180 hours of a VET course in a Certificate II or above.  This will contribute 2 VET credits towards a student’s program.

Contribution towards VPC

Students studying VPC may choose to include a VET program, however it is not mandated.

Contribution towards VCE

Recognition of up to four VCE VET units at Units 1 and 2 level.

ATAR Contribution

Students who receive a VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequence for any of the VCE VET Hair and Beauty qualifications will be eligible for an increment towards their ATAR (10% of the lowest study score of the primary four studies).

What Will You Learn?

Set yourself up for a career in creating and styling in this entry level program that will let you explore the world of hair and beauty and to get a feel for the industry. You will learn the basics of shampoo and basin services, braids, apply colouring products, dry hair to shape, design and apply make-up as well as developing your communication and customer service skills in our simulated workplace ‘Uni Style Salon’

PPE – Appropriate uniform, including footwear, must be worn with further information at Induction Day.

Catholic students to discuss with your school VET Coordinator
